Dubai Charity Association supports humanitarian cases with AED 2 million in collaboration with the Community Development Authority in Dubai

Dubai Charity Association has announced the provision of AED 2 million in financial support, aimed at contributing to the needs of humanitarian cases and the most vulnerable groups, in cooperation and coordination with the Community Development Authority in Dubai.

This initiative comes as part of Dubai Charity Association’s and the Authority’s commitment to promoting social development and achieving community solidarity in the Emirate of Dubai. It aims to provide essential support to families and individuals facing difficult circumstances and various humanitarian challenges. This joint collaboration seeks to unify efforts and allocate resources efficiently and effectively to ensure that aid reaches those who are truly in need

His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, handed over a cheque for the amount to Mr. Saeed Ahmed Al Tayer, Executive Director of the Social Development Sector at the Community Development Authority, at the headquarters of Dubai Charity Association. The handover was attended by Mr. Khalid Al Ramsi, Director of Investment Opportunities and Funding at the Authority, and Mr. Abdullah Abdulaziz, Director of the Follow-up and Coordination Office at Dubai Charity.

On this occasion, His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, said:
“This contribution comes within the framework of our fruitful strategic partnership with the Community Development Authority in Dubai and is an extension of our ongoing efforts to support the objectives of the Year of Community 2025. It reflects our commitment to building a cohesive society rooted in the values of giving, cooperation, and shared responsibility. We firmly believe in the importance of uniting the efforts of charitable organizations and government entities to strengthen humanitarian work — a model that combines the Association’s expertise in charity with the Authority’s ability to reach the most vulnerable segments of society.
