Dubai Charity Association and Salik, the exclusive operator of toll gates in Dubai, organized a special celebration for orphaned children on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. The event aimed to bring smiles to the faces of this cherished group within the community and to create an atmosphere of joy and festivity during the Eid days—an embodiment of the deep-rooted humanitarian values of the UAE society.
The celebration, held in the main hall of the association’s headquarters, was attended by H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, CEO of Dubai Charity Association, and H.E. This is part of its comprehensive and diverse humanitarian programs and charitable initiatives, in adherence to the teachings and values of our noble religion, and in alignment with the UAE’s established humanitarian policy, the vision and guidance of our wise leadership, and the deeply rooted values and heritage of the generous Emirati people, who are known for their love of giving and doing good.
For his part, Mr. Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, CEO of Salik, stated:
"Salik’s active participation in various humanitarian initiatives and projects across the UAE is a true reflection of our corporate social responsibility toward all segments of society. This stems from our firm belief in the importance of such initiatives in strengthening social cohesion and aligns with the UAE’s broader humanitarian mission. This includes our support for orphaned children, a group we are proud to stand by, ensuring they receive the care and support necessary for their healthy development and happiness—because we believe this is an investment in their future.
